WHITE HOUSE BLACK MARKET: STORYTELLING & CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

Challenge
Develop a cohesive visual language for the Spring/Summer transition that elevates the brand’s digital presence. The goal was to pitch and execute a creative direction that felt fresh and seasonally relevant across web, social media, digital ads and emails.

Strategy

  • Conceptual Prototyping: For the Natural Neutrals and The Dress Shop stories, I partnered with my copywriter to develop high-fidelity comps. By integrating narrative and “swipe” imagery early on, I established a cohesive photography style and typography treatment that allowed the Creative Director and VP to visualize the full campaign story.

  • Omnichannel Layout Design: Developed versatile web and email frameworks designed to be effortlessly adapted into high-performing digital ads and social content.

  • Collaborative Execution: For the Spring to Summer Moods story, the production team translated my initial mock-ups into a finalized suite of digital assets. This ensured the visual and verbal narrative remained consistent—from the approved concepts and location shoot to the final asset deliveries across all channels.

Result
The presentation of these high-level concepts streamlined the approval process with senior leadership and established a clear, sophisticated visual standard for the season. By designing with an omnichannel mindset from the start, we created a flexible asset library that maintained brand integrity across all digital touchpoints while reducing design turnaround time.
